Summer time racing
« on: May 06, 2016, 08:34:44 AM »
Well for most of the US Summer time is best racing if Mother stays  away.

For us here in AZ Summer means corrected ALT in 5-7K ft range. Man winter time is down in 1-3 K range.
Now for all of you headed to SLC in June fore the Heritage race I feel even worse for you.

We will be there with the AA/FA the week prior to the Heritage race. Last Aug we had 7200 Corrected ALT.
So we can up the compression and nitro % to get it run.

Now I was thinking about returning with my FED  but I just found out we are moving so that will change those plans.
I was shocked to see the Index impacts of SLC : 7:0 to 7:40  NE1 7:60 = 8:20 I think is what I read.

I am headed down to Tucson Sat to test more hopefully we get the 60 times down and engine to run to better potential than last time.

Good luck to all going to SLC and stay safe out there!

Bryan

NE1 was 8.00 last year.  all the indexes move .4.  Last year 7.0 stayed 7.0 but Mike says this year they are moving it .4

We can't make it this year.  Had an absolute blast last year.  Hopefully next year.

This year it is TWO points races (two wallys too)
