Hi Jon I did see that run and it was a little ugly ! Been there a few times my self ! Glad your friend is ok . The first thing I said to my self is he could not see with all of that oil coming out ! I also saw Bruces car in 7.0 pro !

Hi Bill  I watched the Bang Shift video and you can see the rain hitting the camera lens. Car has been sitting for 3 years and it was good to get out with it. We are going to paint and do up the chrome & polishing stuff this winter. Every one that came by the pits said don't paint it, most thought it had a look we had wanted ! We made a lot of new friends & Ford fans, and drank a little moonshine after the racing was done.

Another member here ran the 7.0 class

Was the number two qualifier in the first round.

In his second qualifying run he ran a 7.07 at 193.13 MPH.

He feels it would have been even better, but, right before the finish line there was a small puff of smoke.

That puff of smoke was caused by the number three rod coming though the side of the block.

Steve thinks the bolts broke on that rod.

It certainly is early, but, there may be hope for the season yet.
