Hello Everyone,
Has anyone run the 14X32X15 tire from M&H on there dragster?
Bruce? Rooman ?

Car will need new  slicks so looking at all the options.

4:30 gear 56% 2 SPD BBC 9000 RPM trap.
7.0 pro car to start

Best Regards
Bryan

Always ran a 33 x 12 x 15 tire on a 10" rim, never had any issues so no need to change to something else. I dont believe in the old BS about running a wider tire for a bad track, ran bad tracks and the 14" guys had more issues than me

Thanks Bruce,
It has 14 x 32 15 hoosiers on it is why I was going to go back with same tire,

As you may remember this car it is Rick Whites old A-Fuel car before bead locks were required so he probably ran them.
I don't think the guy who I got it from ever ran it down the track but once or twice.

maybe the 33 X 12 would plant better

how much growth do you figure in a tire 33 grows to 37
Bryan

dreracecar:
every inch of growth is 200rpm  so at 37" 8000rpm is 204mph, But thats hooked up tight, you will lose 15mph with a converter so you will need 8400rpm in the lights to hit 200mph (average 7.0 mph w/ converter)

its not plant as much as its getting up on the tire, My car was fairly light at 1640 (3.90 gear) with driver and I left off the hand brake at high idle. Thats what I found worked for me

Rooman ,Bruce
Looks like I need some new rear rims
So might try and see what bead locks everyone runs in 7.0
I read the a-fuel limited to 15" wide
16 or 15 diameter rims?
Ultimate class is a-fuel but need to get use to the new long car.

Any suggestions.
