-15 firesuits
« on: January 02, 2016, 11:03:21 AM »
Nearly time to buy my new firesuit, so whose making nice suits these days ? I've had two RJS suits and they were horrible, thick and badly fitting.  Any recommendations for a lightweight affordable suit ?

SPARCO X LIGHTS AT BIONDO
Best suits for the money--they have excellent customer service and suits are IN STOCK
Great guys best price in stock
Europe sizes so go a little bigger than you think--those guys are all short from balls to shoulders

Both my buddie and I have the black two piece and we both are impressed with the quality but they are heavy.  The customer service was great and price is right.

My son has a Sparco and it is very nice and light weight . I have a Stroud 3-20 and it is a little heavier but it is still high quality and there customer service is exelent !Another thing to think about is re cert . Make sure who ever you buy the suit from will re cert it .

I have had mine re certed two times from them . The reason I mentioned this a couple of friends had 3-20 suits of another brand that they sent back for re cert and they came back as 3-15's !

That is great to know, I'll have to send mine in for re-cert. I was afraid I was going to have to buy new.

Have simpson 2 piece -20 or was.First time I sent it back the jacket came back a 15 and pants are still 20.Not sure what it wil be when it goes back if it does.I don't plan on running any NHRA stuff unless its heritage series then I will have to look into getting new one probably. Bad thing is this one is 20 years old and only had about 20 pass's in it.

To those that had to buy a new suit because of cert reduction or unable to re-cert----- Consider donating to your local track rescue personel, For liability reasons, they have to obtain their own suit which is costly for them to pull your ass out of the fire
