Helmet Paint Job Looks LIke old silver mask
Totally T:
The guy that painted it is a old school sign painter...not many of them left around. The red was loaded with flake and you can see pieces of it reflecting in that photo. He actually used rubber undercoating to make the goggle strap so it would look more realistic then cleared over it.

Way cool, I had been looking at going full old school, with open face etc. Is there any safety benefits from going full face helmet?

Just about everything--more integrity to the helmet itself, better face protection from possible impacts, flipping a visor up is a lot easier than getting goggles out of the way, easier communication with crew (ever tried to talk through a breather type face mask?).
I am old enough and have been racing long enough (and cackling more recently) to have done it both ways. I was in the first dozen or so in Australia to purchase a full face and definitely the first to use one in a dragster (back in 1969/70 or so) down there as I could see the benefits.
