bought fed no serial number
« on: October 19, 2015, 11:51:15 AM »
Hi. I purchased a fed on e-bay and proceeded to fax the bill of sale to the border at portal nd. I guess now you need an ITN number from AES to get it across. the owner doesn't know what make or how old it is. the brokerage company wants the make/model and serial number. any one have any suggestions on how to fix it?
Thanks

Not anymore. any self powered vehicle needs an ITN number and im checking out the AES number to bring it across the border.

Non U.S. Residents or Foreign Companies ONLY
Foreign persons visiting the U.S. cannot register to file through AES or AESDirect. Therefore, non-U.S. residents must:
1.Select and authorize a U.S. agent (i.e. Freight Forwarder, Broker, etc.) to file export information to the AES on your behalf
2.Provide the U.S. agent with your foreign passport number (instead of an EIN) and other mandatory data elements
3.Obtain the ITN from the authorized agent

To find a U.S. agent or freight forwarder, simply use an internet search engine to locate one.

They changed the rules last year. Who knew? lol. 125 dollars.
I guess I don't need an AES number as the broker is that number.

OK here is the hot tip on SFI 15 and SFI 20 suits
The best place to get ( only guys with good stock ON THE SHELF)
 is Biondo in NJ
These guys have the Sparco X Lite suits--I LOVE mine! They have the best price in the world on them as well
Others custom make you an SFI15 or 20 and if wrong it is still yours--Biondo sent me a suit after consultation--it was too small--they HAD the bigger one on shelf and had it to me in 2 days flat--no extra cost at all--They are the very best for these suits--the quality of the Sparco suit is great--very high quality zippers etc
Note
Most other suits all made in Asia--and Simpsons are all custom and much more expensive without offering any better protection IMO
Biondo! Yea!!!!
Great folks to deal with period!
I have always had a fascination with fast cars at the expense of more normal character development
