Not knowing the shifter you have I would not recommend that. You said the runway (those darn yank builders) was bumpy, I'm wondering if there were other vehicles having the same problems. Could it be the surface and not the vehicle.

the airfield was built in 39 so you yanks are not to blame for the bumpy runway. all the other vehicles racing were suspension type.

possibly I may have hard braked rather than let the speed reduce itself.

next time I'm there I will try easing of the gas and light braking see if that helps.

do you think 7psi is a good starting point or higher or lower?

I'm at 7 3/4 PSI In pictures taken at the launch the tire rapes up pretty good so I do not think I would go any softer for my combination

it may be the track, does it have the line cut in the runway? ask my son about the lines and his chin. on his record setting run! or talk to Roo bother.
