Ya me too, we were born just a little too late I guess. Now we can do it in old style better built iron but it just costs 10 times more to do.

This is my Gasser from the past.  1961 Ford Falcon tilt frontend, 383 SBC, with a Racer Brown T400 into a 9 inch Ford rearend.   The front axle is a Ford pick up part with the drum brakes. The car is all steel.  I got the Falcon in a trade 7 years ago from a guy in the Chicago area.  The car was built in the mid 60's by 3 guys who worked at a Ford dealership in Chicago.  Every nut and bolt has come off the car and replaced with new/safe parts.  The original 6 point  cage was found to be muffler tubing.  It was replaced with a 10 point CM deal.  Those are the original crome reverse wheels and Cragar's.  It's a fun car to drive.  Best times are in the mid 10's at 130 ish.  I haven't raced in the past couple of years.  I've been saving for and building a Ford AA/FA.

Very nice and an inspiration to get started on our 49 Gasser which has been sitting waiting attention for two years now.

I have made the decision that our racing season is done for this year so this weekend the engine and transmission come out of the dragster and the dragster will get stored for the winter.

That means work on the Gasser starts in two weeks.

Paladin AA/FA:
Thanks, the cars a blast to drive.

Paladin AA/FA:
A couple more
