I guess I should post some pics of my gasser I've had several still have some of them lol. The current one is a 1940 Willys pickup it has a 311 cubic inch small block Chevy 4-71 blower and a 4-speed frankland quickchange it has quarter leaf rear suspension and Chevy truck ladder bars all of it is straight outta 1963 granted it's not the prettiest thing as of yet but in due time it will be painted and done but for now it's tea and tune lol anyway here are a few pics
And one last one where I was running the hairy hauler a well know gasser from the 60's

Cool. I still miss my old truck. I got rid of it when nostalgia cars started running corporate BBC stuff. Paint? it looks great as is! Save the money and put it towards the next race. I bet you get more lookers as is than with a shiny coat of paint.

Thanks for the compliment and yes it gets a lot of looks but I just get tired of the rat rod comments lol not to mention the candy lace panel paint job that is planned would really bring it to the next level of awesome

I would love to build a gasser like yours! A lace paint job would be sweet at least the way your truck sits everyone knows it is a steel body!
