The SRCA Dragstrip at Great Bend, Kansas will be having a “Nostalgia in the Heartland” class Saturday, August 15th. Open to any and all front engine dragsters, center-steer altereds, and pre-’73 funnycars.
This class was added to the SCRA schedule at the request of a half dozen front engine dragster owners from Kansas and Nebraska that wanted a place to race. Entry fee of $45 guarantees you a warm day in August, a reserved pit space with electrical service, and a chance to hang out with some friendly folks.
Gates open at noon on Saturday. Cars must pass NHRA/SRCA tech inspection, pit vehicles required to have current pit vehicle registration sticker. Come on out and support our efforts to ignite come nostalgia racing across the Heartland. Hope to see some you there!
