Push throttle

This is what I do. If your throttle pedal is mounted up off the floor a bit, a lever off the bottom portion of the pedal makes a nice clean pull throttle. If not, do what Ricci32 suggested and loop the cable around the housing and mount it to the top of the pedal.

That's how we run ours, like you have mocked up. But you'll need a brace under the cable mount' down to the head or manifold to stop from flexing down when you hit the throttle.

A throttle stop under the pedal is an excellent idea as well.

Thanks for all the reply's, going to stick with my setup I have but maybe redo my bracket with a thicker piece of aluminum so it doesn't flex like mentioned.  I will definitely be doing a new and improved throttle stop for the pedal itself.  I never realized how hard I was pushing on the throttle pedal with the transbrake engaged at the start until I broke my current throttle stop setup.  Adrenaline is awesome!!!
