Front Pump Question
« on: December 22, 2014, 10:26:42 AM »
Dan--One more!
I have fresh new pump for PG  --has new stator tube , new gears etc drilled out but..it still has stock style priming valve with roll pin--should I thread that hole and elimate the priming valve like FTI says? They show flipping the valve, tossing spring and using 1/4 pipe plug thus eliminating the valves operation--or in my case just leave it alone?
Thanks so much for the time you have been putting in on here for us!

I have never had an issue leaving the valve as is. Replace the stock roll pin with a new heavier one. this valve only needs modified when your making big line pressure.
