Just to back up, I adjust the injector to a high Idle after the burnout and back-up. Eaiser to back-up on low idle then to get the wheels flopping around
Thru the water box and burnout in high gear- shift into neutral
slow brake with brake handle right hand
While holding brake with right , use left to hit lockout button and shift trans into reverse
Left hand back on wheel and depress peddle, relax brake handle to start movment
Behind the line, release peddle (neutral), Grab brake handle and shift into low
With the trans in low and firm brake, I adjust throttle rpm to preset marked posistion so that there is a tug feel with the brakes applied.
Relax handle and roll into beams, grab handle firm, leave on last Yellow by nailing the throttle and relaxing the handle.
Buy me running it this way, everything within the drivline is loaded and ready to go without any banging or clanking the gears or splines and my driver does not have to worry about engine RPMs(too high/low) and maintains consistency, I will adjust the tune up to hit the index after that
