If you can't SEE that it's OK, it AIN'T OK, track workers be damned in the situation where you can't see for yourself.

no disrespect to track workers but I'm very wary of taking direction from them.  I've had starter step in front of my slick when staging, reversed into a burnout box sweeper, been held by the starter and at the same time motioned by track personnel to burnout.  When it comes to the shutdown, common sense prevails and be sure yourself.
