Hilborn question
« on: October 09, 2014, 11:09:54 AM »
Spud,

On my 60's Hilborn unit there is a tube in the middle of the unit with a small knob 1/4 turn valve at the incoming fuel end. What would it be used for?, I would guess it does not take the place of a inline -6 fuel shut-off valve as its pretty small but can turned by hand. Thanks...

Must be someone's idea of a way to turn the fuel off up on the motor. Maybe to prevent fuel from dripping into the motor between rounds as it sits and heat-soaks. Not sure.
