80A size

(1/2) > >>

BK:
Spud, Would you mind sharing info on how to identify what size an 80A pump is?

dreracecar:
80a-1 is a 6.5 gpm    80a-.5 is around 4gpm
Everthing is measured by gear thickness

BK:
I thought it was by the gear thickness. I was looking to see if I could get the different thicknesses to identify a pump.

dreracecar:
Could call Jim at Enderle and not have to wait for an answer

Spud Miller:

 Yes, it's by gear thickness.

-00: .187"
 -0: .345"
-.5: Don't remember. It's .400-something.
 -1: .600"

If there's not a number stamped on the outside of the pump next to the CAST-IN "80A", then it's a -1.

Anything else will have a 0, 00, or .5 stamped into it. These days, even the "1" is being stamped in to avoid confusion.
