weight distribution
« on: September 04, 2014, 01:09:58 PM »
Wondering what most here have for distribution. Doing some playing last weekend with set of scales a buddy had for weekend. Installed most everything that would in car for run(wife was not happy about battery being out of Monte Carlo SS when she got in it). Was missing converter, fuel ,rockers and pushrods. Mine was at 80% rear and 20% front. Figure rockers, pushrods offset the fuel. Moving battery infront of tank should help counter converter, had it behing tank thsi weekend.

Whats your setup work out to?

18 /  82 front to rear weight bias ready to run with me suited up and in the car. Just remember your weight bias will change when you get in the car. My car was 10 pounds lighter on the front after I had gotten in the car.

Bill.
Frank told me same thing.300 on front if you want to be able to drive the_____ thing I think was his words. If I hit 1550 or so the 20% will put me about dead on.If I come in to0 lite(thats highly unlikely) then I will still be close. From reading this weekend allowing for missing items I should be in low 1500's with shortbody and upper with full body. With full chute body I think I gain 17 lbs.
