Not required since there is no battery in the car and you shut them off with the fuel

So it is OK to run over the guy with the starter if the car happens to be in gear. In Section 2.14 TRANSMISSION, Automatic/NHRA Accepted it states "Functional neutral safety switch mandatory." I don't see where a blower starter car is exempted.

I have control of the starter switch that is mounted to the starter along with the solinoid plus I signal the driver. The exact same way the "BIG SHOW" teams do it.Function of the neutral safety switch is only allow power to the start switch in either park or neutral to prevent the car from self starting
GlennLever:
I would think that a neutral safety switch would be something you would want for the safety of all, even if not required.
I'm not required to run a blower bag, but I have one. Just common sense.
coupemerc:
My batteries and starter button are external to the car too. The starter is mounted on the motor. The "neutral safety switch" on my deal is located on the tube shifter and it is wired so that the starter will crank ONLY if the transmission is in Park.
