Front End Caster on a FED

I have been trying to find out what a good starting point for caster angle for a 180" FED. SBC, injected alcohol, Projected mid 8's 155 MPH.
I was told that a good rule of thumb was, 1degree of caster per 10 MPH of top end speed and I just wanted to back up that information. I have seen so many front ends at wide varying degrees of caster and cannot seem to find a consistent consensus.

I plan to dyno the engine next week, the roller is all done so I should be running mid to late September.

Your bound to get a bunch of different replies, but I can tell you that I run 12-14 degrees in every car I build with Anglia style spindles. No matter how fast they think they're going to go, thats what I put in them. There's usually enough adjustment to get a few more degrees to compensate for taller tires or tires that grow more on a run, but from the slowest cars I've built (100 mph) to the fastest (220 mph) I start them all the same. If NED is your home track and you're into nostalgia racing you've probably seen some of my cars run.

I build mine at 20 degrees, although Brendan Murry's is 30--his preference.

I was told that same rule of thumb and it is working for me.  just ran 158 with 15deg.  I am pretty sure I could have run hands off the wheel the full lengthen.

Thank you all for your input. I have the axle set up now for 15 degrees and we will see how that works on the shake-down runs. I am sure it will be just fine!
