Is 3/16" coupler movement too much?
« on: July 22, 2014, 10:14:45 PM »
I have 3/16" front to back play on my coupler. Should I put a bigger spacer or is that ok. I cut off a piece of a broom handle and installed it in the coupler before I slid it over the tranny tail shaft. The manufacturer suggested 1/8". I just want to be safe. I read it is for chassis flex.

cj92345 just curious where you got the shock absorber bushing? Do you cut it to fit?

no trimming, just a old shock bushing from the top of a stud type mounting...gives it a little cushion.
