6 Inch Steering Arm--help
« on: June 25, 2014, 05:44:33 AM »
I bought my new spindles at a swap meet--new in a Strange box. ( may not be Strange) Came with three 5 inch arms--I am told I need a 6 in arm for the top arm--it is .890 bolt pattern with the notches to help locate it. I can't seem to find the right one--Strange says all they have is 5 inch--Good Vibrations says his are for Boultons--any ideas other than making one--?? Do I need a 6 inch? 200 in FED
Can I just alter the one I have--I mean I have pals that can weld I trust but..???
Thanks
I have always had a fascination with fast cars at the expense of more normal character development

Neil and Parks. 785-654-3440. Rooman might also have them maybe I should list him first. If don't find let me know Im right up the road and can make one if you have one with bolt pattern.I think I have a piece of 1/4 molly and positive I have piece of 3/16 I can get one out of.
Relecting obama is like shooting right foot because it did not hurt enough when you shot left foot

All the Strange stuff is based on rear engine/rack & pinion cars where spindle arm lenght does not matter and you have to ask for the third arm because the set only comes with 2.

Good news is that I have the program to make a 6" Strange arm
